Dr. Raghuveer Desai, Founder, Reecorb Pvt.Ltd, holds a Doctoral degree in Materials Engineering, with his research focused on developing biodegradable and compostable alternatives to plastics a mission that has been the foundation of Reecorb.
An academic gold medalist in Product Design and Manufacturing, Dr. Desai blends scientific rigor with creative innovation. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the prestigious Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, equipping him with a strategic mindset to lead both technology and business.
With over two decades of experience in the corporate sphere, Dr.Desai served in leadership roles at Honeywell Technology Solutions and Wipro Infrastructure (Fluid Power Division), where he led R&D teams and spearheaded the end-to-end development of over 20 New Product Introductions (NPIs) and numerous Value Engineering (VE) projects. His work has earned him 12 patents, a testament to his deep expertise and inventive approach to engineering.
Dr. Desai’s journey took a transformative turn when he chose to walk away from his thriving corporate career to answer a higher calling—to serve humanity by tackling the global crisis of plastic pollution. Fueled by a strong sense of purpose and unwavering resolve, he founded Reecorb in 2025, a company committed to offering eco-friendly, biodegradable alternatives to single-use plastics.
Under his leadership, Reecorb is more than a business—it is a movement towards sustainable living, powered by science, empathy, and innovation.
